She is obedient and dutiful and she loves her husband. It is a kind of escape from reality and from the real world. He indulges in day dreams continually, so he deceives himself and he deceives his family and he tries to believe that everything is in order. In fact, the society Willy lived was familiar. This paper managed to analyze causes of Willy Loman’s death, namely, mainly from three perspectives: a personal tragedy, a family tragedy and a social tragedy. ![]() It is significant to anal size why Willy committed suicide. ![]() This is the one of the first hints that there is something mentally wrong with Willy. It has successfully characterized the tragedy of a common salesman in America. Willy saw him in his 'daydreams' he talked to him and asked him for advice. He was well of and he was wise, but he was dead. He is susceptible to form an identikit about the person as he would like to be. Ben Loman was the older brother of Willy Loman in the play 'Death of a Salesman'. He wants to be successful and he wants to be "great". The father is Willy Loman a sixty year old salesman, so he is an average Ameri-can mundane citizen. ![]() The scene of the story is the United States in the 1950-s and 1960-s and the main character is the Loman family which consists of four members, the parents Linda and Willy Loman and their sons Biff and Happy Loman. ![]()
